Application Development Analyst
Requirements
Our client located in Los Angeles, CA is searching for an Application Development Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
Design UI interface and user experience workflow for our web application. Apply knowledge of usability, human factors, and the UI process to complete the user experience of the product. Become intimately familiar with Product Development/QA Procedure. Meet and collaborate with internal clients to identify and document business and user requirements. Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction and design solutions. Solicit feedback from the business, internal software users and software developers to improve business processes, capability and stability of the product. Access data from multiple sources (i.e. product requirements, tech constraints, UI research, web analytics*) and synthesize it in order to develop efficient user scenarios, taxonomies, classification schemes, navigation systems, design patterns, etc. Create and effectively present UI deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, etc.) to explain and negotiate design solutions to key stakeholders. Provide demonstrations of and documentation for new features in the software. Work closely with software developers to ensure that new features are implemented according to specification and bugs are fixed. Help define UI performance metrics and perform post-development usability testing to validate business needs and user goals. Create, maintain and share project documentation and UI guidelines after project execution
Qualifications
The ideal candidate with have strong creative and technical experience paired with business analysis skills. Bachelors Degree and Advanced User Interface/User Experience related design experience or equivalent. Advanced experience supporting user-centered design in a variety of corporate environments. Demonstrated ability to translate complex user needs into simple, elegant designs. Expert level skills with graphic design tools strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively, while balancing speed and quality. Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail. Portfolio that demonstrates exceptional design skills. Programming experience helpful but not required.
